Settings

We’ve tried to provide an intuitive interface that doesn’t expose a lot of knobs. As a result, almost all of the settings here are related to AI features.

If there’s something about inksprite you find frustrating and wish there was a setting for it, let us know!

The Settings menu

This section contains basic app settings. Here, you can select a light or dark theme and enable or disable AI features.

System settings

The settings in this section are scoped to the active story. For now, this is limited to a set of “Prompt Overrides”, which can be used to override the global AI prompts for a story. More on this in the AI Prompts section.

Story settings

The AI section is split into “Write” and “Chat” sections, which allow you to configure the settings for writing and chatting with the AI. This is covered in detail in the AI Configuration section.

System settings

This section is mostly intended for development. Currently, it contains some information about the most recent context sent to the AI. This can be useful if you are experimenting with custom prompts. See the AI Prompts section for a detailed explanation.
